Miss Kay smiling in her kitchen, holding a box of Miss Kay's beef sticks

Our Story

All the kids called me Miss Kay.

I fed a lot of kids who weren’t mine. All those years in a school cafeteria, and every one of them called me the same thing. It stuck.

And I fed my own — my kids, then my grandkids, and now my great-grandkids. Same thing every time: real food, made the way I’d want somebody to make it for mine.

So when I decided to make my own beef sticks, I said it had to be done right… and made with love. Real grass-fed beef, no refined sugar, and nothing I wouldn’t hand my own grandkids. So that’s what we did.
